How this works

What we can and cannot see

The short version

  • There is no accountNo login, no name field, no matric number. The page has nowhere to put who you are, so it never learns it.
  • Your message is stored on its ownThe words you wrote, the topic you picked, and the hour it arrived. That is the entire record.
  • Execs can moderate, not identifyThey can mark a message read, flag it or archive it. Each of those actions is signed with the exec's own name.

What actually gets stored

This is the entire record for one message. There is no sender column, because there is nowhere for one to go.

How we stop spam without knowing you

To stop one person flooding the inbox, we count recent sends against a scrambled key built from your device and your network. That count is kept somewhere else entirely, it deletes itself within minutes, and it is never written beside a message. It cannot be turned back into a name.

This is the one honest caveat in the whole system, and we would rather say it than hide it.

Where this stops

Nothing here can protect you from what you write. If you describe something only three people witnessed, your own words point at you even though the system does not. Say what you need to say, but say it in a way you are comfortable with.
